Deborah Kurth is a Cherokee Nation citizen, born and raised on the reservation till this day. She produces textile art; where other artists use a canvas, paint, brushes, etc., she uses a piece of fabric as her canvas and smaller cuts of fabric as her paint. Around the year 2010, she began helping her mother make baby quilts and so she felt her mission began. From that moment in 2010, Deborah fell in love with quilting and continues to make baby quilts as her mission as well as creating new and unique quilts to sell.
